How to clean your toilet
Toilets are generally a high-germ area, so it’s important to clean and disinfect it weekly. The challenge at hand is damp, warm conditions, which can be a breeding ground for harmful germs to spread, especially after you flush the toilet.
Here’s what you need
- An antibacterial bathroom spray
- Disinfectant wipes
- Toilet brush.
Here’s how you can clean your toilet in 4 steps
- Spray outside the toilet with an antibacterial spray
- Squirt toilet bowl cleaner inside the bowl, and scrub with a toilet brush
- While the cleaner is working inside the bowl, wipe down the outside of the toilet, including underneath the seat and behind the bowl.
Leaving the toilet lid up when you flush can spread germs all over your bathroom – it’s important to always remember to close the lid before you flush. When it comes to hygiene, it’s the little things that go a long way. Cleaning your toilet a little bit, often, saves you a lot of effort in the long run.
